Sustainability of Educational Bodies
While COVID 19 impact has been seen on most of the organizations and industries, the biggest nightmare observed was for the micro and small organization. Focus completely shifted from increasing profitability to sustainability and just survival.
Many organizations due to demand and supply lowered their production and services and eventually laid off many employees which in turn left the end customers with lowered disposable income.
Schooling and Education Sector has been one area which is seeing continued impact:
- Worst hit among them are Pre Primary and Primary Schools.
- Fee collection dropped by 40-60% due to poor turnout of students.
- Only in Bangalore and suburbs, over 4000 funded schools of Bangalore, close to 5% have issues running their organization due to poor fee collection.
- In case of 3rd Wave looming, 25% of schools show inability of running schools due to crisis of funds.
- Bank loans, interests, rental of the leased land, salaries and pre signed contracts are some of the components.
- 1000‘s of teaching and non-teaching staff who have been teaching your children would loose their livelihood.
Program Roadmap & Objective
- Identify Pre Primary and Primary Schools who need financial support to keep them afloat.
- Conduct a detailed study on the claims to ensure that support is going in right hands
