Supporting the Needy Sports Aspirants
According to the 2011 Census, India has over 444 million children. This accounts for 37 percent of the country's overall population. Around 33 million youngsters between the ages of five and eighteen work out of a total population of 444 million.
Sports can play a major role to transform the lives of these children and help them broadcast their talent to the entire nation and world around, Sporting activities have the potential to be a major diversion for (underprivileged) children.
Hence, we at Sepp Foundation have joined hands together to identify the best potential underprivileged sports talent in the country and support them.
Program Roadmap
- Organize training camps, tournaments as well as championships.
- Establish connections with local community leaders, coaches as well as volunteers.
- Counsel and organize talent identification camps as well as coaching camps.
- Organise national, state, and district leagues and support talented sports talents.
Objective
- Inculcating sports right from Primary Education, which will be done through coordinating with primary school authorities, local bodies and other relevant stakeholders.
- Supporting about 10,000 needy sports aspirants by providing them opportunities and scholarships for the same.
