Supporting Fusion Art Culture & Communities
India is one of the world's most diverse countries, a subcontinent that is home to more than 100 languages, 700 separate tribes, every major religion, some of the world's largest cities, and isolated regions with almost no inhabitants.
According to the Census, the total population of Scheduled Tribes is 84,326,240, accounting for 8.2% of the total population of the country. The Scheduled Tribes make up the majority of the population.
Despite India housing a large number of tribal and cultural communities, due to rapid urbanization and coming in of monopolies these communities have lost the avenues to showcase their cultural vibrancy to the entire world.
Hence, we at SEPP World Foundation have come together to support the cultural and tribal communities in the country with the help of a proper program roadmap.
Program Roadmap
- Developing Cultural Zones and associated infrastructure
- Creation and development of art-based skill development centers in targeted localities
- Developing efforts to attract investment in such areas
- Organising cultural events where such communities get a chance to display their art and culture.
- Developing cross-cultural events across the country
